Your Invitation !! You bring your group or family members.
It could be your girlfriends, co-workers, bowling team, or red hat friends. Just think about whom you want to spend some fun-time with. If you want to bring food, wine or beer, that’s good too! We will schedule a time for your event. You get to enjoy the Glass Fusing Center with workspace and available supplies. We can work with you to develop your project ideas. You may want everyone to do the same item or let them be free to choose their own project. Young children (9-12 yrs old) must each have a designated adult to supervise and assist at all times. Projects will be ready for pick up the following week.
Spring signals many gift-giving occasions including Weddings, Graduations, and Mother's & Father's Day. For you die-hard holiday fans there is also Administrative Professionals Day, Earth Day & Arbor Day.

New Class Descriptions:
Kiln Formed Watch Band/Bracelets---Learn how to make designer curved glass watch band/bracelet using the kiln. You will design, fire & slump your project plus learn finishing and wiring techniques to compliment and complete a watch. This class inc. all materials
Beg. Boro Beads—After orientation, we will melt glass and pull stringers while realizing the viscosity of borosilicate glass. From there we will move on to the to the application and forming of clear glass on the mandrel & beadmaking basics. As we progress we will incorporate colors & some different techniques. Fee of $150 includes all materials & special aura glasses.
Pattern Bars—3 part series - take 1, 2 or all three and learn some of the most unique techniques in the fusing process. (all three for $350 ami)
Part 1. Learn basic to advanced techniques of creating pattern bars, and turning them into beautiful glass pieces. Possibilities are endless. You will create a long brick of glass that has a design embedded. You will learn how to properly load the kiln. $100
Part 2. You will learn how to slice your pattern bar block and then learn how to design your project. $100
Part 3. (Scheduled individually)You will learn cold working techniques for professional finishing edges on your pattern project. $150
Fused Glass Lace & Pot Melt --These techniques adds elegance to your fused glass. Its really effortless and no need for extra glass in your projects. Melting glass into a disk will be cleaned up and used whole or sliced to be a bowl, plate or stand alone artwork. ($85 ami) ($75 ami)
Fused Weaved Basket — You’ll be amazed at what you can do with stringers!! Class fee $90 incl all materials + 2 firings.
Intermediate Glass Beads — Take your beginning knowledge a step further. Hollow beads, flower plunges, twisties and color mixing will add to your abilities to create.
